WANDERERS is my end-of-studies project on which I worked during 3 month. It has been developed with Unity by a team of 7 students.

DESCRIPTION

 

Wanderers is a turn based game with stealth components where the player play as Sa'ar and Wü, two bounty hunters which working together since several years. They have to collaborate for eliminate creatures without being spotted and for complete each level. For this, they have at their disposal several skills and have respective roles: Sa'ar sneaks between the enemies by becoming invisible in order to put a mark on them, and Wü supports him and eliminates remotey marked ennemies.

One of our core features is that some ennemies are linked by a sort of generator: they have to be eliminated during the same turn, otherwise they will reappear. Sa'ar will be able to mark all of them, allowing Wü to eliminate them thanks to a multiple shot. It allows the implementation of countless puzzles where the player will have to find the best way with Sa'ar to mark enemies as quickly as possible (a mark disappears after 3 turns) and to place Wü at a strategic position which allows him

 to kill all creatures.

MY ROLES

I've held several posisions within the project:

Producer :

  • Organisation and report of production meeting.

  • Creation and adjustment of the provisional schedule of production.

  • Distribution of the tasks and implementation of milestones.

  • Management and recruitment of outeractors to help in the development of the project.

  • Communication and follow-up of the other trades.

Game Design :

  • Create and follow intentions of realization.

  • Create and rationalize the game mechanics and the game features.

  • Balancing of game mechanics.

  • Writing and keep updated documents of design for the whole team.

  • Sign & Feedback 

Programming

  • Camera switch per character

  • Rotation of the camera by angles

Level Design

  • Design of level design in agreement with the game mechanics.

  • Balancing of this levels.
