
SOLARIS is a game prototype developed in only 1 week with Unreal Engine 4, during my second year of study
DESCRIPTION
It is a tower defense where the player have to defend his solar system against several enemies waves. To do this, he has at his disposal various types of weapons and he can use the gravity of planets to deflect his projectiles and send them where he wants. Moreover, he can collect some powers and ammo around planets.
The main challenge in this project was to learn to create a prototype during a very short duration of production: in only one week, we had to design a game concept and get acquainted with a game engine that we knew little. In the end, we're glad of what we managed to produce: a playable game prototype which respects our intentions.
